Sanma Provincial Waste Management Taskforce
The primary responsibility of the Taskforce is to supervise and facilitate the full relocation of the existing municipal waste dumpsite.
The team shall conduct site assessment, complete official verification, and formally identify and confirm a new, compliant, and resilient sanitary landfill site for Luganville and Sanma Province. This systematic project aims to upgrade provincial waste management infrastructure, achieve cleaner environmental sanitation, and fully support the smooth implementation of all national key infrastructure projects in Sanma.

This waste relocation and new landfill development project is a critical step toward building a hygienic, resilient, and sustainable environmental management system for Sanma Province.
