Together with the Sanma Provincial Government Council and partners, Australia through its programs - Australia Pacific Training Coalition and the Vanuatu Skills Partnership’s Sanma Skills Centre, has supported the upskilling of 25 villagers and construction of the new area council building.
This week calls for double celebrations as the people of Santo West-Coast witness the graduation of these builders and the official opening of the Area Council building that was built by the graduates’ new company - Nojavan Construction Company
The building marks a significant advancement in the Vanuatu Government’s vision of decentralisation and improved service delivery for remote communities.
