NATIONAL TABU ERIA & BIO-DIVERSITY SYMPOSIUM 2026

The Tabu Area and Biodiversity Symposium officially opened today with Hon. Ralph Regenvanu, Minister of Climate Change, joining Sanma custom chiefs in a custom ceremony to mark the opening of the event.

Participants were welcomed by the President of the Sanma Provincial Government Council, followed by the Minister’s opening speech. The day included presentations from government departments and development projects, showing the ongoing work to strengthen biodiversity conservation and climate resilience across Vanuatu.
